After completing his Bachelor of Science business graduate degree (BSc) from Brunel University in the UK, he proceeded to further his education with a double Master's degree.
He holds a Master of Science in Global Business from the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom and a Master of Science in International Business Development & Consulting from Novancia Business School in France.
He joined the Martin Dow Group of Companies in 2016 after completing a structured orientation program in Marketing, Finance, Business Development, Human Resources, and Regulatory Affairs. In 2017, he assumed the role of Business Development Lead, launching eight new items for the Group by mid-2018.
Ali is playing an essential role in shaping the future of the Martin Dow Group, carrying on his father's vision by guiding the group's foray into further diversification through successful strategic acquisitions and flexible technologies. Besides dedicating his time to grow the business, Ali is deeply involved in Philanthropic endeavours, he has taken on roles in 3 leading Healthcare institutions. He is the Core Committee Member of the Shaukat Khanum Karachi Project, a Member of the Fund-Raising Committee at The Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) and a Trustee at the Memon Health & Education Foundation supporting and ensuring free quality healthcare service. He is also selected as the Youngest Global Leader from Pakistan for the year 2023 by the World Economic Forum.
With his impeccable leadership, he is now expanding the Martin Dow Group’s worldwide partnerships, talent development, and industry influence.
Javed is a Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Martin Dow Group, and under his leadership, the group has experienced unprecedented growth, including the acquisition of the Roche brands and manufacturing facility, leading the Group's growth further through his noteworthy insights.
He is a qualified fellow member of the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan, with over 25 years of experience leading in diversified functions such as Finance, Marketing, International Business, Business Development, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, New Product Development, and Technical Functions.
He has held key positions at a number of leading multinational and national companies, including Abbott Laboratories, Getz Pharma, Briogene, and AJ Research & Pharma (a Saudi Arabian subsidiary of the Al Jomiah Group), the latter two of which he served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
To his credit, he has grown AJ Pharma from a start-up to a global company with a strong presence in both prescription and consumer health markets across seven ASEAN and GCC countries. Under his guidance, the Martin Dow Group continues to grow and set new standards of distinction across the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry in Pakistan and abroad.
Asim Mustafa brings over 25 years of cumulative experience in strategy & portfolio management to Martin Dow Ltd. He has held increasingly significant positions in reputable companies such as Abbott Laboratories, Aventis Pharma, and, most recently, Getz Pharma as the Director of International Business.
Asim has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Karachi. He is an accomplished marketing strategist with considerable experience in both domestic and international marketing.
At Martin Dow Ltd., he presently oversees several core business areas, including Marketing & Sales, International Business, and Medical Affairs.
Shahrukh joined the Martin Dow Group in 2020 and has since risen to the position of Chief People Officer for the group.
He has served as the Director of Human Resources for several organizations and holds over 20 years of experience working in Pakistan, the Middle East, and Africa. His career spans work for a number of prominent national and multinational organizations, including Getz Pharma, Abbott Laboratories Pakistan, Reckitt Benckiser Arabia, and DXB Entertainment
Shahrukh holds a Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources & Marketing. He is also a certified Leadership Coach from the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Adeel Javed is Director Engineering & Projects for Martin Dow Limited. Adeel joined the company in 2019 and is responsible for all activities associated with Plant Maintenance, Engineering & Projects of Martin Dow Limited Karachi and Seatle Pvt Ltd. Lahore. He brings with him 22+ years of cumulative work experience related to Engineering functions, focusing on achieving long-term business goals. Prior to joining the company, Adeel served as Chief Engineer at Hilal Foods. Before Hilal Foods, he held various senior leadership positions at Getz Pharma, Abbott Laboratories, Pharmatec Pakistan and MSD Pakistan. He received his bachelor’s degree (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from NED University of Engineering & Technology and holds an MBA from the Institute of Business Management, Karachi.
Muhammad Zubair joined Martin Dow Limited in 2015 and is responsible for overseeing the company's Plant Operations. He has an extensive experience of around 20 years specializing in Plant Operations, Production, New Product Development and QMS.
Zubair has worked with leading multinational and national pharmaceutical organizations, including Abbott, Pfizer, Getz Pharma and Pharmatec. He has many strategic achievements to his credit in areas of new dosage forms’ induction, capability building, efficiency and cost-cutting. He holds a master’s degree in Pharmacy from Karachi University with majors in pharmaceutical technology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management from IBA.
M. Sc. in Analytical Chemistry; Syed Adeel Ahmed, Director Business Development has over 17 years of experience in the field of Business Development, of overall 21 years including Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Sales. He has worked with companies including Novartis, Sanofi, AJ Research & Pharma. He has also studied Pharmaceutical Marketing and Supply Chain Management. He possesses understanding of business models, channels, trade and alliances. Adept at negotiating practical business models and contracts for developing business opportunities and country specific portfolio. Besides Pakistan, Adeel has worked in various markets including Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, CLM Cluster and UAE in the diverse fields of Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Healthcare, Aesthetics.
Mr. Muqeet holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from University of Karachi and has done a Post Graduate Diploma from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi.
Prior to joining Martin Dow, he worked as Country Head Quality Operations at Novartis Pharma where he worked towards developing a cross-divisional quality culture with high awareness on data integrity and close collaboration with Country business partners.
Previously, he has remained associated with Reckitt Benckiser, Sante Private Limited, Sanofi Aventis Pakistan Limited, and SAMI Pharmaceuticals. Altogether he brings with him over 23 years of cumulative work experience.
At Martin Dow Limited, he is leading the Quality Operations department and responsible for implementing Quality policies/guidelines related to ICH, PIQC, WHO standards and local Drug Laws.
